Born and raised in Italy’s Marche region, Andrew Toncini is a chef driven by tradition, passion, and global experience.
His culinary journey spans Italy, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Canada, refining his craft and deepening his appreciation for authentic Italian cuisine.
Andrew co-founded La Cucina Mobile, a successful food truck in Brisbane, Australia, before launching Toncini Modern Italian, blending traditional flavors with modern techniques.
Now based in the Okanagan Valley, he brings restaurant-quality Italian dining to private events, catering, and culinary workshops, sharing the essence of Italy with every dish.
With a deep respect for heritage and a love for bringing people together through food, Andrew continues to create unforgettable dining experiences, celebrating the rich flavors of Italian cuisine.

Steffie brings a blend of passion, creativity, and precision to her role as General Director at Toncini Modern Italian. With her keen eye for detail and unwavering commitment to excellence, Steffie ensures that every aspect of our operations runs seamlessly, creating unforgettable experiences for our clients.
Originally from Montreal, Steffie has a deep appreciation for authentic Italian culture and cuisine, which she incorporates into every event and project. Her leadership style is rooted in collaboration and innovation, fostering a team environment that thrives on delivering quality and care.
When she’s not managing the team or curating exceptional dining experiences, Steffie enjoys exploring the wineries of the Okanagan and the rest of the world, embracing its natural beauty, and discovering new inspirations to bring to Toncini Modern Italian.
