Originally from Canada, Steffie has a deep appreciation for authentic Italian culture and cuisine, which she incorporates into every event and project. Her leadership style is rooted in collaboration and innovation, fostering a team environment that thrives on delivering quality and care.
When she’s not managing the team or curating exceptional dining experiences, Steffie enjoys exploring the wineries of the Okanagan and the rest of the world, embracing its natural beauty, and discovering new inspirations to bring to Toncini Modern Italian.
United in their culinary passion, Michael, joined forces with Andrew in Australia in 2016. Together, they ignited the sensation of "La Cucina Mobile," a food truck venture that brought their cooking skills to the local community. While Michael took the lead in the kitchen, Andrew excelled in public relations and event management.
This culinary success paved the way for "Toncini Modern Italian," their first restaurant venture. Michael led the kitchen with his culinary skills, while Andrew managed the front. The path led Michael to Japan, following his wife Mari, where the dream of an international franchise continued.
In 2019, Michael embarked on his own culinary journey, enhancing his skills and growing his family. Despite the distance, the brothers' collaboration thrives, with shared recipes, ideas, and a vision that enriches every culinary creation.
Antonio is a key figure behind Toncini Modern Italian, bringing a wealth of culinary expertise and a deep passion for authentic Italian cuisine.
Originally from Italy and now an Australian citizen, Antonio has over a decade of experience working in kitchens across Europe and Australia.
With the departure of Michael Toncini, Antonio seamlessly stepped into a leadership role, forging a strong culinary partnership with Andrew Toncini.
Despite the distance between Australia and Canada, their collaboration remains central to shaping the Toncini Modern Italian experience.
Antonio plays a vital role in menu development, contributing recipes and ideas that balance tradition and innovation.
He has now opened his own pizza restaurant in Brisbane, where he continues to bring authentic Italian flavors to the local dining scene. Through cross-consultation, Toncini Modern Italian remains connected to his journey, and we wish him all the best in this exciting new chapter.
